Experience sustains that no artificial light reveals the authenticity in colours like that of LED lighting at the appropriate colour temperature (for some it may be 6500°K). There is nothing like “daylight white” or “natural white” to bring out that pure colour and pigment while referring to the light source’s CRI.
(Color Rendering Index is a scale from 0 to 100 percent indicating how accurate a “given” light source is at rendering color when compared to a “reference” light source. … Light sources with a CRI of 85 to 90 are considered good at color rendering.)
In most contexts and living spaces, people are naturally drawn to appreciating changing stimuli and moods. Adequate and dynamic “light” can be enjoyed in the same way as when ones listens to a pleasant music track, or appreciates a meal. It becomes a synaesthetic experience.
This behavior stems from using light as an “active” ingredient in feeding the individual’s sensations and needs. Variation is what gives us more satisfaction. When approaching the hours of sunset, the intensity of emotions and their density reach a pre-climax. By nightfall, with the proper LED lighting, colours stricto senso or colours of emotions, reach their epitome in providing this ultimate sense of synaesthesia without ever neglecting quality.
